DESCRIPTION:Le français suit l’anglais\n\nYou are warmly invited to attend the Multidisciplinary Seminar 2025 by CEFAN, titled “When Technology Meets the French Language,” taking place online on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:20 p.m.\n\nThis year’s seminar will explore the theme of technologies and specialized communication, focusing on accessibility and language techniques.\nThe event features two guest speakers:\n\n\nValérie Florentin, associate principal of Glendon Campus presenting: L’accessibilité, ça passe par le langage!\n\n\nJulián Zapata, Toronto Metropolitan University, presenting: Pour le service en français, dites “français du Québec.”\n\n\nWe encourage all staff and faculty to join this engaging session, which promises to spark dialogue on the intersections between technology and the French language.\n📩 Register at: cefan@cefan.ulaval.ca\n\nNous vous invitons chaleureusement à participer au Séminaire multidisciplinaire 2025 du CEFAN, intitulé Quand la technologie rencontre la langue française, qui aura lieu en ligne le mercredi 8 octobre, de 13 h à 15 h 20.\nLe séminaire de cette année portera sur le thème des technologies et de la communication spécialisée, avec un accent particulier sur l’accessibilité et les techniques langagières.\nDeux conférenciers invités prendront la parole :\n\n\nValérie Florentin, Vice-principale aux affaires académiques du campus Glendon (Université York, Toronto), qui présentera: L’accessibilité, ça passe par le langage!\n\n\nJulián Zapata, Université métropolitaine de Toronto, qui présentera: Pour le service en français, dites “français du Québec.”\n\n\nNous encourageons l’ensemble du personnel et du corps professoral à se joindre à cette séance enrichissante, qui suscitera des échanges sur les liens entre technologie et langue française.\n📩 Inscription : cefan@cefan.ulaval.ca\n\n
