SUMMARY:Building Blocks for Child and Family Well-Being: A Parent Skills Group
DESCRIPTION:The York University Psychology Clinic is hosting a 6-week online program for caregiving teams where the latest evidence from family science is used to help caregivers build on their ability to:\n\nRecognize family members unique needs and strengths\n\n\nHelp children regulate emotions & behaviours\n\n\nManage challenging sibling dynamics\n\n\nSupport one another in caregiving roles\n\nThis program is designed for caregivers with children 18 years and under.\nOur hope is that all important caregivers can take part in the program. However, one caregiver, alone, can make positive change in the family.\nThe program starts the week of October 20th, 2025. There are two time slots available: Mondays at 12:00pm OR Thursdays at 8:00pm.\nHosted by Dr. Heather Prime, clinical psychologist at the York University Psychology Clinic.\nThe cost is $250.00 for one person or $400 for caregiving pairs. Program should be reimbursable through extended health plans under psychological services.
