SUMMARY:Theatre@York presents She Kills Monsters
DESCRIPTION:She Kills Monsters tells the story of Agnes Evans as she leaves her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, however, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.\nDirected by Ruth Madoc-Jones\nProduced and Designed by BFA Production/Design students\nActed by 4th year BFA Acting Students\n\nCast A:\n\n\nThe roles of Vera Martin/Vera Beholder will be played by Nadia Mkandara\nThe roles of Faeire/Farrah will be played by Ann-Mei Côté-Sergerie\n \nCast B:\nThe roles of Vera Martin/Vera Beholder will be played by Mackenzie Hall\nThe roles of Faeire/Farrah will be played by Natalie Stefanson\n\nPerformance Schedule\nSaturday, Nov 16 – 7:30 pm Preview 1 – Cast B \nSunday, Nov 17 – 7:30 pm Preview 2 – Cast A\nTuesday, Nov 19 – 7:30 pm Opening – Cast B\nWednesday, Nov 20 – 1:00 pm Matinee – Cast B\nWednesday, Nov 20 – 7:30 pm – Cast A\nThursday, Nov 21 – 7:30 pm Relaxed – Cast A\nFriday, Nov 22 – 1:00 pm Matinee – Cast A\nFriday, Nov 22 – 7:30 pm – Cast B\n\n\nSaturday, Nov 23 – 2:00 pm Closing – Cast A\n\nTickets\nPreview Tickets: $ 10.00\nRegular Tickets: $ 20.00\nGeneral Admission.
