Material will cover basic programming concepts, loading and working with data, and using libraries to create graphs and charts.\nWorkshop benefits:\n\nGet an introduction to how programming can automate repetitive or large tasks\nHave your own computer set up to support your own exploration with Python and coding\nUnderstand how to load raw data into a format that makes processing and manipulation easier\nBuild simple plots and graphs of data to help with exploration and analysis\n\nThe workshop will take place in a computer lab, but participants are welcome to use their own laptops. If you would like to use your own computer, please install the Anaconda Individual Edition ( https://www.anaconda.com/products/individual ) before the class — see installation instructions for Windows and MacOS.\n\n
