SUMMARY:Racialized Students Support Group
DESCRIPTION:This monthly drop-in group is facilitated by two SCHW racialized counsellors.  The group provides a safe space to share lived experiences and to build a supportive community for York students who identify as Black, Indigenous or a Person of Colour (BIPOC).  A focus of the group will be placed on processing and healing from racial trauma.  Topics vary from session to session but may include, managing embodied stress, intersectionality, family relationships, academic-related stress, inter-generational oppression, impacts of colonial histories, financial marginalization, upholding expectations, defying stereotypes, and self-care.\nRegistration for this group is required.  Please email us at  schw@yorku.ca for registration.\n
