SUMMARY:Global Learning Partner Info Session: Malmö University
DESCRIPTION:Study at one of YorkU’s global partners for 2-6 weeks in the summer. Programs take place between May-August each year and provide students with the opportunity to explore a new city/country, experience a different culture, and earn credits towards their degree. Summer programs are rich with experiential learning activities that make the most of your time away. Learn a new language. Try a new cuisine – the world is your classroom! Come to an information session.\nMalmö University – Why southern Sweden is a better choice than the north? \nMalmö is located in the very south of Sweden and makes it a gateway to the rest of Europe. The city has something to offer no matter interests, lifestyle, or background. \nYou can stroll through the parks, swim in the ocean, go to a concert, look at art, take the 40-minute train to Copenhagen. Everything within reach of a bike ride.\nThe University itself being young has made a modern and flexible center focus characterized by global engagement, community involvement, and a multidisciplinary, challenge-based approach to education, research, and collaboration. \nA wide range of courses covering different disciplines, such as Political Science, Education, Urban planning and such are amongst the many! \nThe University strives to bring balance to the students life during their stay, by having each individual course taught separately and not having them on top of each other.\nCare to hear more, then come by! \n
